Adult Acrylic & Oil Painting
Tuesday: 6:30 pm to 8 pm
Thursday: 11:00 am to 12:30 pm
Ongoing Class: Ages 18+
Cost: $70.00 per month plus materials.

This class focuses on oil and acrylic techniques. It is attuned to the hobbyist as well as the pro looking to hone their skills. Sound like your cup of tea? Then grab your smock and take a walk to the CMA.

Adult Drawing Class
Tuesday: 11:00 am to 12:00 pm
Ongoing Class: Ages 16+
Cost: $45.00 per month plus materials.

Draw, partner! Learn the basics right on up to the advanced techniques of graphite, charcoal, colored pencil, pastel, and pen and ink. From beginner or advanced, if you like to put pencil to paper, this class is for you.

Adult Watercolor
Friday: (every other week) 4:30pm to 5:30 pm
Ongoing Class: Ages 18+
Cost: $22.50 plus materials

Sign up now to explore one of art’s most misunderstood mediums. Depending on their skill level, students will delve into basic and advanced watercolor techniques. Subject matter will range from in-class still lifes, photos, and free-formed abstractions.

Mini Mics
Tuesday: 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm
Ongoing Class: Ages 8-12 yrs.
Cost: $45.00 per month.

This is a beginners class introducing students to the basics of drawing, painting and sculpting. Students will develop skills in various art techniques, use new materials, learn about famous artists, and plan many of their own projects.

Little Pics
Thursday: 4:30 pm to 5:15pm
Ongoing Class: Ages 5-7 years
Cost: $45.00 per month

Kids love art! This class focuses on the process of art creation in a positive, child-centered atmosphere. Students explore a wide variety of art methods and materials including: drawing, painting, sculpting, collage and more.

Teen Art

Wednesday: 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm
Thursday 6:00 pm to 6:45 p

Ongoing class: Ages 13-18

Cost: $45 per month plus materials.

Teen Art takes kids beyond the basics in their art experience. Students will develop skills in more diverse art techniques and mediums and are encouraged to plan their own projects.

Adult Percussion Ensemble
Wednesdays: 11:00 am to 11:45 am (Ages 18+)
Cost: $45 per month

This class will cover various styles of percussion, using a variety of percussion instruments.

Homeschool Art Classes

September through June

Mondays, 12:00-12:45pm (Ages 5-7)
Mondays, 1:30-2:15pm (Ages 8-12)
Tuesdays, 12:30-1:15pm (Ages 13-18)
Cost: $45.00 per month.

Your child will enjoy learning about art and artists and will get the chance to create their own artworks in a variety of mediums and techniques in a group setting. PLEASE NOTE: This year, all homeschool students must be signed up for the class prior to the beginning of each month. If there are fewer than three sign-ups, the class will cancelled and any students already signed up will be contacted to arrange a possible private or semi-private alternative class.

Paint & Sip Classes

Variable Schedule, Friday evenings throughout the year
Ages 21+
Cost: $40.00 per session

Teacher: Gerald Van Scyoc

Our ongoing series of Paint & Sip classes have quickly become a favorite for folks all around the Steubenville / Wintersville / Weirton area and beyond.  

Held on Friday evenings at 6:30 usually once a month, students complete a painting in a few hours while enjoying their favorite beverages and snacks. 

We are also able to schedule a customized class to suit your needs. If you’d like to get a group of 5-10 friends together, feel free to call us at 740-264-3111 to schedule your own session.

One-On-One Computer Graphics

Variable Schedule
Ages 16+
Cost: $17.00 per half hour
Teacher: Gerald Van Scyoc

Students will be introduced to image manipulation, color correction and collage techniques using Photoshop on the Mac OS platform. This is an excellent class for a wide range of individuals: from anyone looking to improve the photos on their web page to students with an eye toward a career in graphic design.
